The view when you first glimps, Wilsons Promentary National Park, always takes my breath away. Reg and I amd our two girls spent many wisits to Wilsons Prommentary, walking along the edge of Tidal river, loving the beautiful reflections of rocks and trees in the water. I remember them loving Squeeky beach and the way your shoes made a squeeky sound as you walk on th sand there. It's a little short notice but still worth the mention, some people may be in the area and able to get there. 'Secrets of the Sea'. Buchan in Victoria is not just a place of beauty but a place of personal memories. I sometimes wonder what would have happened in life if I had posted a card I wrote to a young man I was friends with, when I was visiting Buchan with my mother when I was nineteen. I never did post it, I was far too shy to make the first move even though I liked the young man of 25, this man I first met and became friends with when I was 14 and he was 20. It was another two years, before he wrote to me. Then there was a whirlwind courtship of love letters, a fast courtship and we were married five months laterJ. We took our two daughters to holiday at Buchan; we have some wonderful family photos. Yes Buchan is more than a place for us, J. Reg and I have been married for 42 years this May, what might have happened if I had been brave enough to post that card to him, two years earlier?
