Earn money from Blogging. 01/27/2010
I have been checking out a range of companies that pay bloggers to write reviews or pay for links inserted in their blogs and I have come up with this list that is worth looking further into. I do not currently do work for any of the following and I am interested in opinions others have about the merits or otherwise of doing work for them. I do not have a lot of experience with them so I am beginning to check out a few so I know if I can personally recommend any to you. Last night OI applied with six blogs to Review me and this morning I received my rejection email, it appears my blogs are not commercial enough, Tonight I am testing out submitting a blog for inclusion to PayPerPost. I chose this, my smallest website, I can well understand if it is not accepted, this website is too new to have its Google ranking yet, but I know, that one day it will rank well as I plan to develop it and make a good reference web site from it. PayPerPost, asked for my name, my email address and the blog I could enter. The fee they suggest I request was a low one and you can choose a client who pays you if they feel like your post after it has been published, or not and specify what percentage of the time you would like a client to pay. Well I put down 100% of the time to be paid. For goodness sake, if I do the work for client I would expect payment 100% of the time, if they don't like my work, they do not book me again. PayPer Post. then asked me to write a new bog post and include this sentence in the new blog. 'The unhelpful heritage vanishes.' Could there be a more unusual sentence to try to incorporate innocently into a post? I decided the best way to include it was to do a post about applying for a PayForPost, Job. Now Pay for post jobs are disclosed as pay for post jobs. I did three recently across three blogs and I stated clearly that the work was a paid project but the words and opinions were my own. This is ethical blogging, so PayPerPost appears to be ethical in how they do business in that they allow you to disclose to your readers that the post is a sponsored one. That I like, so I will continue with the process of submitting this blog and let my readers know how this works out and if I would recommend PayPerPost, to other bloggers. Comments are very welcome. My art cards can be purchased through the contact page. Free postage or shipping for sets of four. Please be sure to add the date of the post you see the four cards you are ordering, to your PayPal payment instructions to the seller. Second try. THe sentance was not 'picked up', to varify, my blog URL.so i am trying again. The unhelpful heritage vanishes. Third try, another crazy sentance, no way to add it into a blog post short of explinig why~. If you feel hunger, try lizard feet . My third attempt to be have my blog varified, was successful. I set the fee I wanted 5 times higher than the lower suggested fee and they suggested i accept work from advertisers who pay 50% of the time and they had no recomendation to demand payment 100% of the time which is what i stated I would accept work for. So it remains now to see if advertisers through that company accept my terms which are stricter than the apparent average. But my blog has been accepted. You will know if I get sponsored posts, I will be stating clearly that they are sponsored and only accepting the work if I can speak in my own words, expressing my own opinions. Best of luck if you are also looking at developing an income stream from your blogs. Please feel very welcome to share your experiences striving to do this, here. |
