I am recommending the web site Bloggers against Plagiarism to everyone involved in writing and reading blogs. The description they give of their site, says, ‘ Most bloggers are ethical and do the right thing but there are some who exploit the hard work of others and just STEAL content to pass off as their own. They must be stopped! If you know of a blogger doing this, please report them’. Plagiarist is the acne for a creative person. As an artist, I have been, confronted, for decades by people, trying to copy, my artwork and I have recently become aware that this happens to bloggers also. I have data dot imprinted, many of my major art work, and I place my thumbprint in the side margin of each work, plus I paint with the world’s best quality art materials and no copier of my painting could repeat all those pointers, so a copy could always be detected. Plagiarising a blog requires no skill. It is simple cut and paste work. However, it is easy to prove plagiarism. The internet dates works when they are published, it is easy to see who's post, preceded anothers. Bloggers against Plagiarism can explain in more detail, I urge those interested in blogging with ethics, to join the group, learn more about how to protect your own and other reputable bloggers, work. Take a stand to stop Internet criminals. This is just as much a crime as any other form of theft. It is time we stopped with the soft lables. There is no such thing a joy riding it is car theft. There is no such thing as shoplifting it is shop theft, there is no such thing as 'only Plagiarism'. Plagiarism involves intellectual and or creative rights and income theft. It is stealing! it is a criminal act that should not be wishy washy, white washed. I am not always patient. Every time I clear a table or a space in the caravan to have a place where I can paint, it gets covered with things. A man's clothes, food, plates, cooking stuff... at least once or twice on every trip the frustrated artist, in me has a bit of a rant, that I was promised before I agreed to buy this caravan, that I would have a part of it to use as a studio, a no go area, for others and this was not being honoured. I need to work harder at conditioning someone I care about, to allowing this, 'my studio', place to happen. lol, I am the carer, I only have my own lack of organizing to blame if i cannot sort this out. It is not a huge problem, many would envy me if that is the worst frustration I feel. ![]() I had already decided, after seeing the mess the caravan was in when I packed to leave Tathra to come to this great Seven Mile Beach Holiday Park, that I would be rearranging the van tonight and trying to once again more assertively claim studio space in it, as I do not want to give up trying to have this. I mean how much table space does a man need to read a book, play Sudoku or watch TV? ![]() When we arrived here at Seven Mile Beach and set up our caravan on one of the beachside sites, I found the wardrobe where Reg had done a little handyman work, had disintegrated. Not the fault of the van lol :-). I put in the 'too hard basket', to fix then, because the souroundings were just so beautiful I wanted to get out there and enjoy them. We grabbed some cold chicken and a drink and we spent the rest of the afternoon at the beach. It was beautiful there; this is such a lovely caravan park. Reg and I were both very impressed by the utilities block and the beautiful swimming pool and we are within a very short walk to the beach. This is a great place for Indigo our poodle. ![]() I do love my caravan I just want it to be smaller on the outside so when I need to change lanes to make right hand turns in a heavy steam of traffic, it would be easier. I also want when I need to go up steep hills to have left my entire art studio ad art for sale stock at home and to be at my ideal size so I am not carrying with me on a six months tour three sizes of clothing. I of course want all those things with me when we arrive at our destination. Then on top of this I want Dr Who to come and redesign the inside of the caravan and make it larger. Smaller outside and larger inside ~ a very reasonable request for a caravan, I think. ![]() 10.30pm I've made a wake up coffee, now to tackle the mess ... :-). As my good friend Tina Wife; Mother; Blogger; Photographer....♥ Tina Gray {dot} Me ♥ 11.30 pm OK, I no longer own a wardrobe in my caravan, I dismantled it, it wasn't functioning as I wanted and Reg's handyman alterations were disintegrating. The wardrobe has been converted now to a chest, but then I don't own a bench seat, as that's where the chest that once was a wardrobe, went but I don't like caravan bench seats anyhow I use a folding chair, so short of a Dr Who redesign, I think I have done the best I can do with a busted, wardrobe and it does give me one heck of a good excuse, to not hang my clothes up, lol, there isn't anywhere, to do so 12.30 am Blogged about my day and happy that the caravan looks and feels 'workable' again and realizing I was just a bit stressed earlier due to the heavy traffic on the drive and I know that two full days in this beautiful area, meeting a great friend, :-) Tina, (see website above), and relaxing here in this gorgeous caravan park will have me feeling calm and serene again before we move on again. Sharing some beautiful pictures of Seven Mile Beach. So far I am only painting them in my head. Heading to bed now, :-), Reg will be pleased at the caravan looking a lot tidier when he wakes than when he saw it before he headed to bed and I'm sure to be treated to coffee and breakfast in bed. I am trying some layouts of words to go with prints of the pastel artwork of Caleb and Talyn. I was looking for good quotes to go with the picture, then I saw 'mum's words', that had accompanied her original photo and I loved that. What do you think? There are two possible layouts above. I like the look of the lower one with more foreground, yet the top one has better placed light areas to suit the words. I have also tried two letting styles, I always prefer the flowing style above though the block letters are easier to read. Both have merit. I could do the first one, as I have designed it, as a small business card size fridge magnet, and the lower one as I have designed it, as a small business card, gift card. Thought I would get some opinions and lol, proofread it well before I hit the print button, after my previous effort, see my 'Dyslectics of the World, Untie, post, below, :-). I found the photo of these two beautiful young boys in friends on line photo album. The light I saw across Lake Dorothy on my walk early this evening inspired me and so I have been working ever since trying to capture the essence of these boys playing only I am making the picture, backlit by the light across the water, as I saw it tonight, here in Mooroopna. I would have loved to have finished this tonight but it is not to be, there is more work in it that the in the image I completed of Georgia which only took me an hour each. This work is already a couple of hours into it and it looks like taking many more hours to get even close to a finished work. It is my own youngest grandson’s birthday tomorrow, Happy Birthday CJ. He is almost a teenager J, I’m beginning to dare to think of Reg and I enjoying becoming great grandparents, it seems only a short time back the grandchildren were born. Children are our joyJ. People have more in common than we have differences; primarily we all love and want the best for our children. Children are our greatest creative artwork J Sunset Power Walk. 01/19/2010
I decided I was going to have a one-hour workout, beginning with a power walk as warm up then I would do my weight workout followed by some mat exercise, crunches and superman. I got as far as Lake Dorothy, I wish I had had the camera with me, but the image of the sunset is fixed in my mind and I have rushed home to paint it, here in the studio. Then I will re do my warm up and weight exercises, shower and off to bed, late but very satisfies with my evening’s work. Well I hope to be back ‘in’, here with something to show for my effort J Meet the author dog ~ Indigo. 01/12/2010
Meet Indigo. Indigo, my Poodle, has her own blog and has an ongoing friendly rivalry competition with me that I secretly enjoy seeing her win. Just don't let her know, or she wil think she rules the house. The competition is to see if she can earn more money for her published stories (I’m the ghost writer), J, than I can for the writing I do in my own name. Sometimes we are neck and neck, other times we draw ahead of each other, when Indigo is winning, lol, she gets extra rewards. Last time she received a heap of writing assignments I lashed out on a new pair of clippers for her, thinking she had better look a lot better if she was going to become a well know published author. Lol J. If you like to read a light-hearted view of life through the eyes of Indigo out blue gray, miniature poodle and her doggie blogger friends or if your dog is a bit of a wag, please visit Indigo’s doggie blog. http://www.doggiesblog.com Nursery Rhyme, Baa Baa, Black Sheep, Mural 01/12/2010
